Following on in our series “what happens when you install the top 20 download.com apps” –  We are now onto Driver Booster 2

So, how did we do with Driver Booster 2

First the download went fine.  Come to the installation.

We find that Driver Booster 2, wishes to install IOBit Malware fighter.

Driver Booster 2, mentions that 2 of our drivers are out dated.  We know this is not the case.

It also wants to download the ‘latest’ flash player, as ours is ‘old’.  We know that we have the latest version currently installed, so do not let it continue.

To update the ‘old’ drivers, we need to activate Driver Booster 2.

Now it asks us for a licence key.

So for only $24.95 compared to $134.73 (HUGE saving right?!), we can activate Driver Booster 2, and get smart defrag 2, windows tweak ebook, and some picture collage maker software.. Thanks but I think I’ll pass.

Next time, we will deal with Internet Download Manager.
